My teacher gave me the dharma name Taiyu in 2005. It means serene wisdom, and reflects our mutual hope for the future. These poems chart the course of my heart and mind along an unknown path that began 50 years ago and shows a few signs of slowing down but no signs of stopping any time soon. I am a Zen Buddhist recovering alcoholic poet biker lawyer father, among other things. My books, This Now, Always Doing Being We live Our Lives, and The Only Universe I have Ever Known, capture the best of these posts, and are available from Amazon, Lulu.com, and wherever books are sold.
